Project Summary

Training centre requirements for Nutrien Ag Solutions included flexible space for internal safety programs. The facility also needed to meet high standards for design, functionality, and branding. To meet these needs, Nutrien partnered with 3twenty to complete the full design-build in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Flexibility was a key requirement for the project. The facility includes approximately 3,000 square feet of clear-span training space. The main area supports different layouts based on group size and training requirements. Nutrien can adjust the space for different programs, meetings, and group sizes. Wide corridors and open common areas also help larger groups move easily throughout the facility.

A grand entry welcomes employees and visitors into a bright, professional environment. The project team selected finishes, lighting, and architectural details to create a polished interior. The finished space has the look and feel of a downtown Saskatoon hotel. At the same time, the layout supports the practical needs of a busy training centre.

Branding played an important role throughout the design process. 3twenty’s design team worked directly with Nutrien’s marketing team to follow established brand standards. Together, the teams selected finishes and design elements for the space. 3twenty also coordinated owner-supplied signage and branded materials throughout the facility.

The completed training centre gives Nutrien a dedicated space for employee safety training and development. Flexible room configurations support a range of training needs and group sizes. In addition, the clear-span design gives Nutrien an open space that can change as its needs evolve.

Through a complete design-build approach, 3twenty coordinated the design, interior details, branding requirements, and construction. The finished facility provides Nutrien with a functional and professional training environment.
