Code of Conduct
At 3twenty, we give employees lots of trust and autonomy. Trust is one of 3twenty’s core values. It is paramount to the relationships we create with our customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and, of course, our employees. We pride ourselves on providing a flexible, fun, and autonomous workplace, which only works when people respect and trust one another.
We value high ethical standards and compliance with laws, rules, and regulations and are committed to conducting our work with integrity. This Code of Conduct outlines the standards which every team member must uphold to ensure a respectful, safe, and high-performing work environment. This includes but is not limited to the following:

Compliance with Laws and Regulations: We strictly adhere to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws, regulations, and 3twenty Modular policies, including building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations relevant to the construction industry.
Conflicts of Interest: Employees must avoid situations where their personal interests could conflict, or be perceived to conflict, with the best interests of 3twenty Modular. Any potential conflicts must be disclosed to your supervisors or the People Strategy Lead. Conflict of Interest may include, but is not limited to, the following:
- Having a financial interest in a competitor, supplier, or client without disclosure.
- Accepting inappropriate gifts or favours that could influence business decisions.
- Using company resources for personal gain that is not explicitly permitted.
Confidentiality: We respect 3twenty Modular’s proprietary information, including designs, processes, client data, financial information, and project details. Any disclosure of this information could be harmful to 3twenty’s interests. Therefore, this information must not be disclosed to 3twenty competitors, unauthorized individuals or used for personal advantage, either during your employment or after leaving 3twenty.
Respectful Workplace and Collaboration
Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination: 3twenty Modular is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to a workplace free of discrimination and harassment based on race, ethnic origin, religion, creed, colour, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable Canadian human rights legislation.
Harassment: We have zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, abuse, slander or intimidation in the workplace. Please see the Safety Manual for our harassment and violence policy.
Respectful Communication and Collaboration: We communicate professionally and respectfully with all colleagues, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. We value open communication, active listening, and constructive feedback. Effective collaboration and teamwork are essential to ensuring a win-win approach to construction.
Diversity and Inclusion: We recognize the value of diverse perspectives and experiences in driving innovation at 3twenty. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all team members feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique skills.
Professional Conduct and Responsibilities
Attendance, Punctuality, and Project Commitment: We are expected to be reliable and committed to our work schedules and project timelines. We ask that employees be mindful of project schedules when requesting time off. Employees should also ensure they follow 3twenty policies and communicate any necessary absences.
Responsible Use of Company Resources: Company resources, including equipment, tools, technology, and materials, should be used responsibly, efficiently, and solely for legitimate business purposes related to 3twenty Modular’s projects and operations.
Technology: 3twenty provides employees access to various technologies to facilitate business operations, including computers, tablets, email, and the internet. It is essential to recognize that these resources are intended for business purposes. In the event of an investigation, 3twenty does have access to your data and previous information.
Health and Safety: Employees must follow all safety regulations and procedures at all times. This includes the proper use of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as outlined in the company’s Safety Manual and any site‑specific safety plans. Employees must remain attentive in identifying and reporting unsafe conditions, hazards, near misses, or incidents immediately. Prompt reporting helps prevent injuries, supports continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with regulations and industry safety standards. Failure to follow safety requirements may result in corrective action, up to and including disciplinary measures, to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
Representation of 3twenty Modular: Employees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times when representing 3twenty Modular. This includes behaviour on project sites, during meetings, at industry events, and in any situation where they may be identified as a company representative, whether in person or online.
Employees shall demonstrate conduct that reflects the company’s values, protects its reputation, and promotes a positive and respectful image. This expectation also applies outside of regular working hours when employees may still be recognized as affiliated with the company, particularly when wearing company-branded clothing or using company-branded materials.
Reporting Violations and Enforcement
Reporting: Employees who observe or have concerns about potential violations of this Code of Conduct are responsible for reporting them to their immediate supervisor or the People Strategy Lead. All reported violations will be taken seriously and investigated promptly and impartially.
Disciplinary Action: Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
