Project Summary
3twenty collaborated closely with CHD Developments to design and construct a shell for a new retail development, Aspen Plaza. The project meets the City of Saskatoon’s stringent zoning requirements while offering adaptable spaces for a wide range of future tenants. It was also important that the building complement the character and aesthetics of the surrounding neighborhood.
Unlike most 3twenty projects, the 16,500-square-foot retail development was built entirely on site in Aspen Ridge. The team designed the shell with tenant customization in mind. As a result, Aspen Plaza features pedestrian-friendly storefronts and convenient access to a spacious parking lot. The project also incorporates landscaping plans that accommodate a future drive-thru and a daycare with an outdoor play area. Careful attention to exterior finishes helps ensure the building harmonizes with the surrounding community.
