Project Summary
Sask Rivers School Division (SRSD) and Blooms and Buds Child Care Centre partnered to build a new facility that would bring an additional 46 licensed child care spaces to Prince Albert, SK. 3twenty has had a long-standing relationship with the school division, having previously helped double Arthur Pechey school’s size with relocatable classrooms, so we were a natural fit to help design and build the new childcare facility, that would be attached to the school.
Built from two modular pieces that were 91 feet long, the new facility includes a connecting corridor to the existing school, and two separate areas accommodating both preschool aged children and toddlers. Each area has built in cubbies, a boot room, bathroom facilities, lots of play space. The facility also includes a shared kitchen space. The entire project was delivered in under four months.
