Project Summary
In 2018, 3twenty designed and built its first complete school for Mistawasis. Six years later, the team was excited to take on the high school expansion. Mistawasis is dedicated to providing essential resources and opportunities within the community. This focus helps reduce the need for residents to travel elsewhere. Childcare was a key need, and this high school expansion helps address that gap.
The new daycare expansion provides dedicated spaces for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. These spaces ensure that young children have a safe, nurturing environment where they can learn and grow. The design considers the needs of both children and caregivers. As a result, the facility features bright, open spaces, age-appropriate learning areas, and modern amenities.
By bringing quality childcare closer to home, the project supports families in Mistawasis and strengthens the community as a whole.
