Project Summary

Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan launched a capital campaign to raise $4,000,000. The goal was to help “Stage the Future” by creating a permanent amphitheatre-style home along the South Saskatchewan River. The organization approached 3twenty to support the project by constructing several key facilities. Inspired by the organization’s energy and the lasting legacy of the project, 3twenty contributed $50,000 to the campaign and got to work.

Group2 Architecture in Saskatoon led the overall design for the project. This scope included the three buildings constructed by 3twenty: the box office, the concession, and the artists’ change room. With tight original budgets, the 3twenty team offered recommendations to help reduce costs. Through strong collaboration between all partners, the project came together successfully. Today, the space stands as a charming and functional permanent home for Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan in the heart of Saskatoon.
